After a week of rain, floods and definitely autumnal temperatures we feel the need for some colour. So this week we are showing you stunning glassware of Glory Art Glass.
Each piece is hand-made by Martin Evans, his wife Nicky and
their two sons, who together run Glory Art Glass from their studio gallery at Sandown on the Isle of Wight. Often only a dozen or so pieces a day are made and no two pieces are the same.
Right now in the Green Tree Gallery we have birds....
and snails....
flowers....
and toadstools...
as well as bigger pieces: tree sculptures swirling with colour, vases smothered in cherry blossom and nasturtiums...and colour-drenched torso sculptures......
Next week, we will be gathering in exhibits and planning for "Enchanted Forests", which will run from October 13th to November 4th....
Oooh that is beautiful glass! x
